Wish I...

"I am Sorry, said someone already having planned to die, I just can't help it."

"This is the end I thought, if there is a way out then this is it." I was so sure that I decided on the end.

Why do people have to come to this grim conclusion about their lives? I wonder now but the truth is that I too was a person who felt the same way when my problems arose. If only we can stop take a look around and know the greater and deeper meaning Life has to offer.

Life is hard in present times, even with all the technological advancements, we've only seen increase in demands that can cost one's life if one isn't prepared. but the truth is "LIFE itself is Fleeting"

No matter what happens, it is up to us to make it worth living. If we are struggling, let's struggle well, If we are happy and content let's be that way. If we are sad at the moment let's be sad for now. You never know what tomorrow holds or even what the meaning of life really is.

Once upon a time, a young leaf was born from a branch on a tree. It saw the glittering rays of the Sun as it fell on its bent figure and it stretched to see it well. What a nice world! it thought to itself, as it stretched out fully and was shining with light green color reflecting back the sun rays.

Days passed and then a month, it was happy as it grew in the warmth and the strength of the tree. Then a bunch of Ants, scurrying all over the tree climbed onto it. They bit of its edges, folding the sides hoping they would make a nice home in the now matured dark green healthy leaf. It didn't try to shake them off instead it gave them their space.

The rains came, The weather reported that it would be a storm like no other. The tree bore the brunt of the heavy winds but stood firm even after having lost many of its branches. The curled leaf, safeguarding the ants stood firm too but it was a bit weaker as it was aging.

Then came the bugs unseen to Human eye, they heavily weighed down the tree leaving their marks in almost all the leaves even the young sprouted ones. The leaf sheltering the ants was infested too. It still stood firm in its branch now yellowing as a result of the many months it had lived.

It was now its time to say goodbye. It withered off and fell to the ground silently. I picked it up to see that it was still the once happy leaf as it still remained the shape of a leaf,  with all its intricate veins now visible in light. It was truly a leaf worth remembering.

If a leaf's journey is that incredible, how much more is your life and living? You are created in the Image of your Maker and even if you decide that today is the end are you sure that you will retain the joy that life held even after death?

If you are not sure, don't take the next step. LIVE and choose to live just like that leaf. It had a purpose, find yours through the struggles that you face and emerge boldly from the pain.
