I know the place of the Manjal, the Malli and the Milagai...

Dedicated to my Sisters in law and my Husband without whom I would never have known where these spices places where supposed to be in the Kitchen or what they were meant to be used for.

Kitchen spices can turn out to be the defense or knowledge of a Homemaker running a home in all its perfection. The one thing that is dormant on most of the Women’s minds is being so sure of oneself, with the belief that anything is possible by them, no matter what the circumstances; while actually cowering deep inside not knowing what to do being a fresher in the Kitchen and in life.

A world of pretence and bravery combined, living life either on the pretending side or being brave enough to face life. This two in one Life requires you to be a responsible Woman building a Home and a Family while you still remember the first time you rode a bicycle as a kid or played cricket once in a while. Those memories lie fresh on your mind, as a girl who enjoyed life no matter the consequences running around with a broad smile on her face.

She little would have realized the pain of her mother who actually had to plan and make the meals which she could eat as she comes back home tired after playing. Only when she herself is a Mother, the pain would hit her with a force stronger than gravity reminding her constantly of her iconic Mother who would go the distance for her, even though it was not required of her to do so.

This life demands you to be strong on the outside no matter who you are on the inside. But as one famous proverb states “Even a mighty Oak was once a small nut standing its ground” I ought to compare the life of every Woman to an Oak tree who was once; planted small and underneath the ground, the place where she found her purpose and true meaning to live another thousand years as a strong echo through the mountains.

This may be true for some Women as not all are blessed to live the life of a mighty Oak some are also meant to be a simple Neem tree. Living a Hundred years and in the balcony or in a small garden withstanding terrible amount of heat yet giving shade and being evergreen throughout its lifetime.

No matter what kind of tree you are meant to be, this two in one life shouldn’t be lived alone or faced with any consequences alone. The transition from being a fresher in life and in the Kitchen has to be smooth and not over-demanding. A supportive and caring life goes a long way than echoes for every single person. To put it in better way, any individual human in this world would want love, care, respect, support and understanding. Let us as men, be the hands that hold and mold our Women into individuals with a heart of passion. So that in the time they are underneath, they would learn to live strong forever with echoes that are never ending.

Women please stop pretending and stop trying to be brave. Knowing the place of the Manjal, the Malli and the Milagai should go a long way, to gaining knowledge more about your own life that you live each day. Just as Life isn’t easy for anyone hurdles are there in any race course let us be the ones who share how to cross each hurdle in our own unique way. And by doing so, help many more young women on the journey of life.
