Why Blessed and Doomed

Someone once told me in my difficult times "what good is there in loving only those who love you?” It made me think. Indeed i agree with this thought that it is equally futile doing so and it also could be an opportunity for endless possibilities.

Why Blessed and Doomed at the same time?

A woman's truer blessing depends on outside factors

An endless list of 'If's' to tune her to rhyme,

along with the rest of the world and all that matters.

Blessed or Doomed choose any one!

For each human is an individual like the spectrum seen in a single light

Even in a marriage differences are a garment worn

You are either blessed or doomed; it is your own fight.

Doomed i say is this world, look around you!

Rumors of war and basic rights of a human being are at stake.

Yet there are a few, who don't bother, about the old or the new,

happenings that make us question if there really is a heaven, when we wake.

Blessed or Doomed i don't care,

As long as i am free to do what i want with my life.

It is this concept of freedom itself that is marred

For each individual, in this Indian society is blinded with hate and strife.

We are Blessed and Doomed at the same time.

Because blended, we understand the importance, 

Of little things that matter in every family that's yours and mine.

Truly you can live life through blessedness or doomedness, making a meanace.

For in that madness is a way to live true to yourself.

Who would otherwise wish to live only blessed or only doomed?

A blended approach would teach us to know it all and also to ask for help

For what good is there in being only blessed or only doomed?

What good is there in loving only those you love?
